Networking

Networking is an important development tool and invaluable in being able to communicate, identify mutual benefits and get help, support and advice on areas which may be outside of your specific area of expertise.

There are many networks in the community waste and public sector that support their members’ activities, provide advocacy and representation and help them build communication links. Many networks offer services in a formal manner, such as providing regular conferences and networking events where members can present and discuss best practice and examine solutions.

This section provides links to information upon the benefits of networking, how to successfully achieve them and specifically, how your partnership can make the most of network contacts.
