who to tell

Once a decision to close a community waste project or organisation has been made, there are a range of people and organisations who need to be told such as: staff, clients, contractors, suppliers, funders and any other organisations linked to the business. In practice some of these should and will have been involved/advised of the consideration to close.

In addition, a range of official organisations such as: Companies House, the Inland Revenue, HM revenue and customs and the Charities Commission, will also need to be told of an intention to close.

This section gives links to information on who you need to inform of a decision to close an organisation or project and the best way to contact them.
