insurance

We all know that insurance can present a minefield of unfamiliar terminology, making it difficult to identify your needs in relation to the offerings of different companies and policies. Insurance is an important choice as it could impose restrictions upon your activities and will also affect yourself, your employees, your suppliers and your customers.

There are a number of insurers who specialise in insuring the voluntary sector and some of the networks have worked with insurers nationally to offer specialist insurance for the community waste sector (for example: for furniture re-use projects).

This section provides access to on-line information on insurance and how to make sure that you make the right choice for your organisation or project.
