organisational structures

Choosing the right organisational structure is important, both for the fulfilment of yourself and your employees, but also for your clients, customers and partners (current and future) and for the smooth running of your organisation or project.

Choosing the right company structure and the right type of organisation will help you operate in the most efficient and effective way and may be crucial to how you can be funded.

Community waste organisations or projects will need, at the very least, to have a constitution or memorandum of understanding and articles of association. Your organisation may be an un-registered group, a not-for-profit company and or a registered charity. Visit the registering your organisation/project page for further information.

This section provides links that will explain the different structures that you may choose and give examples of when they may be appropriate.
